2007 AHMA-NCNH Award Nominations
Each year, AHMA-NCNH recognizes the many challenges and opportunities facing individuals in all aspects of the affordable housing industry with an awards program to recognize individuals for their outstanding contributions to the multifamily affordable housing industry.

There are four award categories:
  • Outstanding Contribution by an Affordable Housing Professional
  • Outstanding Contribution by an Affordable Housing Maintenance Professional
  • Outstanding Contribution by a Government Official
  • Outstanding Contribution by a Resident

AHMA-NCNH invites you to nominate
  • An Outstanding Employee who exemplifies management excellence and professionalism in affordable housing.
  • An Outstanding Maintenance Professional who exemplifies excellence and professionalism in performing their work.
  • An Outstanding Government Employee who significantly helped you or who made a notable achievement promoting excellence and professionalism in affordable housing management
  • An Outstanding Resident who improves the quality of living at one or more assisted properties by contributing time to benefit the residents or the property.

Because of the great response in 2006, we’ve continued with the simplified nomination process.
Please complete and submit an entry form in one or more of the categories by fax to:

2007 Poster Contest
AHMA-NCNH is pleased to announce the 2007 “Drug-Free Kids” calendar art contest.
The theme of this year’s contest is “A New World of Hope: The Promise of Technology.” Artwork should emphasize the positive future children can enjoy if they stay drug-free.
All children living in a family community of AHMA-NCNH member companies, residents who live in senior and disabled communities of AHMA-NCNH member companies, and residents who live in permanent supportive housing or 811 communities of AHMA-NCNH member companies are eligible to participate. Winners of the AHMA-NCNH contest will be forwarded to NAHMA to compete for inclusion in the 2008 “Drug-Free Kids” calendar.
Submissions of artwork and the required application and new release form are due to AHMA-NCNH by Wednesday, May 30, 2007.
They should be submitted to:

Residents of senior and disabled properties along with the residents of permanent supportive housing and 811 communities are strongly encouraged to participate in this year’s contest.
In 2006, AHMA-NCNH had two winners, one student and one senior, selected to appear in the 2007 NAHMA Drug-Free Kids Calendar. It would be great to repeat this achievement in the 2008 calendar.
