Site Manager (Palo Alto)

Job Description:
Responsible for overall management of the property which includes supervision of maintenance, janitorial, and office support staff; Processes applications and administers eligibility process; Confirms resident selection criteria, implements and enforces lease and house rules; Schedule move-in inspections; Assures compliance with Regulatory Agreements and Policies; Posts and receives rents and other income; Prepares, reviews and submits accurate month-end accounting reports; Accounts for petty cash; Assures all safety and security issues are addressed; Performs periodic & annual unit inspections; Purchases and maintains stock of maintenance and janitorial supplies, On-call duty as required; Responds to emergencies after hours.
Qualifications:
- Experience in on-site property management; Affordable housing experience a plus Knowledge of HUD compliance rules or equivalent affordable housing experience Strong administrative and organizational skills Good communication skills.
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Ability to work with people in a congenial, but authoritative manner.
- Ability to respond to property and tenant crisis.
- Computer skills in Word & Excel required Experience with Yardi software program a plus

Experience & Education:

Ability to work with other administrative and maintenance staff and resources Successful track record of meeting property goals Property management experience, preferably in affordable housing Must have a valid California drivers license High School Diploma or GED
