2009 AHMA-NCNH Scholarships

AHMA-NCNH takes great pleasure each year in selecting deserving young persons to receive vocational or academic scholarships in the amount of up to $2,000 each.

AHMA-NCNH Scholarships are awarded to residents of housing managed by AHMA-NCNH members who are currently or will be attending vocational, academic, or fine arts post high school education. Applicants must be age 16 years or older. Current high school students and current college students must have a GPA of 2.5 or above; or possess a high school equivalency certificate. It must be the applicant’s intention to complete the course of study indicated on the application. Scholarship funds are intended for tuition purposes only and therefore checks will be made payable to the educational institution; however if the award results in the loss of other assistance from grants/loans, other arrangements will be made. Scholarships must be used within one calendar year.

Applicants for academic and fine arts scholarships must be high school seniors, high school graduates, or current college students, eligible for admission to or to continue enrolment in the college, university, or fine arts school program indicated on the scholarship application in the fall semester or quarter.

Applicants for vocational scholarships must be a high school senior, high school graduate or possess a high school equivalency certificate.

Applicants for vocational scholarships must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or possess a high school equivalency certificate.
